NEW ORLEANS, La. (AP) - The Troy Trojans were picked to finish second in the Sun Belt Conference.

The eight league coaches had the Trojans trailing only defending champion Florida Atlantic.

Troy received one first-place vote.

The Trojans had five players on the first-team preseason all-conference list, including four on defense.

The group included offensive lineman Dion Small, defensive lineman Kenny Mainor, linebacker Boris Lee and defensive backs Sherrod Martin and Tavares Williams.

The predictions were released Monday.
