ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - A key member of Georgia's offensive backfield
is about to return to his usual role.

Brannan Southerland was supposed to be the starting fullback who
cleared running lanes for Knowshon Moreno and helped give Matthew
Stafford time to pass. A broken foot that required two operations
kept him off the field until two weeks ago against Alabama. He
played only on special teams in that game,

Southerland finally will be back on offense when Georgia plays
Tennessee on Saturday. He's been elected a team captain and is
expected to return as a starter.
