Chip Harris' Northview Cougars were trying to turn their season around in a hurry and make a push for the playoffs.
That would be a tough task though bringing in the best team in Region-3, the Opelika Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs got off to a fast start and never slowed down. Quarterback David Thomas scored on a 1-yard run. Then, Thomas threw a 50-yard touchdown strike to Kentavious Heard. Later in the 1st half, Thomas connects with William Grant on a screen pass that turns in a 75-yard scoring play. The Bulldogs led 28-0 at the half.
Opelika goes on to win 42-6. Northview has lost 4 straight games and falls to 2-5 on the season.
