BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Regis Huddleston scored 16 points to
help lead Troy to a 92-79 win against Alcorn State on Friday night. Brandon Hazzard added 14 points off the bench for the Trojans (1-3), Richard Delk tallied 12 points and three steals and Michael Vogler chipped in nine points and a game-high nine assists. Vogler and Delk also grabbed nine rebounds each. Tom Jervis added 10 points, grabbing eight rebounds and notching three blocks.

Troy Jackson led the Braves (0-4) with a game-high 26 points, and Jarvis Williams and Brandon Rogers added 12 each.

The Braves outscored the Trojans 40-25 in the second, but it wasn't enough to overcome a 67-39 halftime deficit.

The Trojans hit 14 3-pointers en route to victory.
