The 2009 Dothan Leisure Services Adult Flag Football City Tournament concluded on Sunday, November 1st at Pittman Field.

Eight teams competed in the tournament. Cash Game won the City Championship.

After losing their first round playoff game and going to the losers bracket, Cash Game went on to win their next four games setting up a championship game against the undefeated ASC Trojans. Cash Game defeated ASC Trojans forcing an if- game. The if- game ended in a 13-13 tie forcing a sudden death overtime.

Cash Game scored on their first play in overtime and got the extra point making it 20-13. The ASC Trojans scored on their third play in overtime but missed their extra point making the score 20-19 and giving Cash Game the victory and the City Championship.

The Dothan Department of Leisure Services has had a highly successful Adult Flag Football League for the last six years. The League Organizational Meeting is held in August of every year with games beginning in September of every year.
