Trap--any device, stratagem, trick, or the like for catching a person unawares.

As the only undefeated Sun Belt team, the Troy Trojans are emphatic they will will not be caught "unawares" against the winless Hilltoppers.

"I'm terrified of going up there," says linebacker Boris Lee.
"We don't treat them just like any other team," adds running back Dujuan Harris.

That's because they're NOT like any other team. In fact, Western Kentucky is the only winless team in the league.
So why be afraid?

"It's weird when we go up there. It's a confusing atmosphere," says linebacker Bear Woods.

What is confusing, is why the Hilltoppers have played Troy so tough the past two seasons.

In 2007, a Shawn Todd sack in the final minutes preserved a 21-17 win in Bowling Green.

Last year, Western kept Troy out of the endzone in the second half of a 17-7 Trojan victory.

"The prognosticators are going to pick us to win big in this one...but I know better," promises Troy head coach Larry Blakeney.

And know this-Troy's a perfect 6-0 against the Hilltoppers all-time.

But at the home stretch of what has so far been a perfect conference run, a team looks for anything to keep that edge...that focus. This week, for the Trojans, it's "The Trap Game".

"Whatever you wanna call it, it's a road game in the league. We've got to take care of business," adds Blakeney.
