SEC honors Auburn's Walt McFadden
Auburn's McFadden tied a career-high with five tackles and returned the first of two interceptions for a touchdown against Mississippi.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - The Southeastern Conference named
Mississippi State running back Anthony Dixon, Auburn cornerback
Walt McFadden and Florida kicker Caleb Sturgis as its players of
the week.

Dixon rushed for a school-record 252 yards and two touchdowns in
State's win over Kentucky. It's the SEC's highest total this
season.

Auburn's McFadden tied a career-high with five tackles and
returned the first of two interceptions for a touchdown against
Mississippi.

Sturgis won special teams honors after kicking a career-long
56-yard field goal and making a 44-yarder in Florida's win over
Georgia.

Arkansas guard Mitch Petrus was offensive lineman of the week
while Auburn end Antonio Coleman won defensive line honors.
Tennessee defensive back Janzen Jackson was freshman of the week.
