3 of the 4 Dothan high schools are in the playoffs beginning Friday night. The Dothan Tigers will travel to face Prattville.
Elsewhere, over in Class 1A, the Providence Eagles clawed their way into the playoffs. Their reward is a road trip to face the defending 1A State Champ Sweet Water.
This is just the second trip to the post-season in school history. The last time they were in the playoffs in 2007, the Eagles also had to face Sweet Water.
Providence Head Coach Emory Latta says his guys will be ready to take a crack at the defending champ.
