The Movie Gallery Pro Classic attracts top-ranked women players from around the world. Twenty different countries were represented in the 2007 event. The Pro Classic brings both Dothan and the Tri-State area a unique opportunity to host and view an international professional tennis tournament.
The Movie Gallery Pro Classic is in its 7th year as the USTA's top circuit event with a $75,000 purse! It is now listed as one of the Top 10 events for 2008 by the Alabama Bureau of Tourism & Travel.

On Monday, Friday & Sunday there will be drawings for tickets to the 2008 U.S. Open in Flushing, NY. The winners names will drawn from among that day's attendees at the Movie Gallery Pro Classic matches. The drawing will be held in the evening after the main draw matches. The results will be announced on News 4 at Ten in the sports segment.
