Vanessa Araiza joined the WTVY family in September of 2007 from WEAR in Pensacola, Florida where she worked as a production assistant.
Vanessa received her Bachelors degree in Journalsim with a specialization in Broadcasting from the University of West Florida.
She’s hopped around from Texas to Michigan, eventually making Ocala, Florida her home.
She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
Vanessa decided to have a career in television news because she’s always loved learning about other people and their stories.
In her spare time, Vanessa likes to spend time with friends, preferably at the beach, hit the gym and try new different things.
