Rayne joined the WTVY news team in January of 2006. She serves as the weekend anchor and also reports three days a week. Rayne covers a variety of news topics including local crime, education and health related stories.
She came to Dothan from WAKA in Montgomery, Alabama where she worked as an associate producer. Rayne spent the majority of her childhood in Prattville, Alabama and graduated from Prattville High School.
In 2005 she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communications. While at Troy she was an evening and noon anchor for Troy’s cable news broadcasts.
In 2007 Rayne started back to school at Troy University’s Dothan campus where she is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations.
Rayne has very loving and caring parents, Robert and Tammy. She also has a wonderful brother and best friend, Bo, who is extremely supportive and is always there to tell her how proud he is of her accomplishments.
In her pastime Rayne enjoys snuggling down with a good book, relaxing with girlfriends, working out, studying, and hanging out with Isis, her hairless dog.
