Denise joined the WTVY news team in February of 2008 as the producer for “Live @ Lunch with Angie Casey”. She now reports from News 4's Coffee County Bureau. Denise covers news from Coffee, Geneva, and Covington Counties as well as the Florida Panhandle.
Denise graduated Cum Laude from Troy University in May of 2008. She majored in broadcast journalism and picked up a minor in her second passion, graphic design. While at Troy, Denise anchored and reported for the award-winning TrojanVision news team.
Denise is a southern girl, growing up in Alexander City, Alabama. She graduated with honors from Benjamin Russell High School. Along with playing softball and cheering, Denise reported for BRHS's weekly newscast, “W.I.L.D.” But that's not where her journalism bug began.
Denise fell in love after writing for the Radney Elementary Newspaper and anchoring the “WLRS Morning Announcements” in elementary school.
In Denise's free time she loves making crafts, singing, horseback riding, and spending time with friends and family. She's also a self-professed computer geek. You can find her on Facebook or Twitter by simply searching her name.
