Martha was born and raised in Bloomfield, Connecticut and moved to Daytona Beach, Florida where she completed her bachelors degree in Meteorology at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
After a brief time working in Panama City Beach, Martha began as Weekend meteorologist at WTVY in October 2007. In addition to reporting three days a week, Martha filled in for Oscar and Connor, and covered severe weather such as Tropical Storm Fay, and the March and April 2009 Wiregrass floods.
She has recieved an Alabama Associated Press Broadcasters Award for Best Weather Anchor in 2007.
After two years as Weekend Meteorologist, Martha moved to "WTVY This Morning" and "Live at Lunch", Monday through Friday in October 2009.
In addition to covering severe weather, she loves visiting local schools and educating children on the importance of weather.
Martha loves the beach, running, bike races, going to concerts and hanging out with friends. She has a twin brother in the Coast Guard and a younger sister, and one very spoiled cat named Josie.
