WTVY Bio Save Email Print Name: Martha Spencer Title: Weekend Meteorologist I was born and raised in Bloomfield, Connecticut and moved to Daytona Beach, Florida where I completed my meteorology degree at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2006. I am a huge fan of warm weather, so when I moved south I didn't look back! After working in Panama City as Morning Meteorologist, I joined the WTVY team in October 2007. I love the southern hospitality of the people of Alabama and everyone has been extremely nice. I have a twin brother who is in the Coast Guard and stationed in Kodiak, Alaska. I also have a 14 year old sister in Connecticut. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, going to the movies, and I'll jump at the chance to get back to the east coast and go surfing. I love the beach!! I only miss Connecticut when the leaves are changing or when it snows for Christmas, otherwise the warm weather suits me just fine!
